Very poor design and extremely disappointing experience. These were purchased as a Christmas gift for my sister and ended up being embarrassing to give. She is a UK size 7, so I ordered a UK 8 for extra comfort. Despite this, she couldn’t even get her foot into the shoe — and neither could I, and I’m a UK 6.5. Assuming it was a one-off issue, I ordered a second pair in the same style and colour, again in a UK 8. Unfortunately, the exact same problem occurred. Both pairs were completely unwearable. Neither of us has unusually large or wide feet, so this appears to be a serious design flaw. Customer service was equally disappointing. I was offered no real support, just a dismissive response stating that “some styles may differ” and that the shoes were not considered faulty. To make matters worse, I had to pay nearly £7 per return via Evri — twice. This was my first experience with Hush Puppies and it will definitely be my last. A very disappointing purchase, made worse by the fact it was meant to be a Christmas gift shared with my family on Christmas Day.
