First time wearing them, they ripped my baby toes and heels to shreds. Took a while to heal. I then placed shoe inserts in to stretch them a bit and now wear a thin sock and a nylon sock (yes two socks) and it's much better. Note - I went down a size after my first order was too big and were damaged. Hush Puppies paid for the shipment back to them which I appreciated. I then bought one size smaller and that's why my heel and baby toes were injured. They are nice shoes and I may try another pair in the future now that I know what to do.
